The new, more sensitive and environmentally sound exploration technologies that are developed and being validated within the project are explained in detail in the Prototypes Series.
Prototypes Series - Teaser
Our project coordinator Alireza Malehmir (Uppsala University) summarises the new, more sensitive and environmentally sound exploration technologies that are developed and being validated within the project.
Prototypes Series - GPS time-system Transmitter
Tord Sjolund (MIC Nordic) and Alireza Malehmir (Uppsala University) introduce us to the state-of art GPS time-system transmitter developed within Smart Exploration. The system enables us to create 3D deposit characterization in an unprecedent resolution and accuracy. GPS-time transmitter presented in this video has been jointly developed by Uppsala University and MIC Nordic, led by Lars Dynesius and supported by UU Innovation.
Prototypes Series - Electric Seismic Source
Richard De Kunder, CEO of Seismic Mechatronics, introduces us to the e-vib developed within Smart Exploration. The seismic source is an ultra-low frequency electric seismic system and creates higher resolution images and shortens seismic processing with software techniques like Full Waveform Inversion.
